Well, I took the bike on an hour ride today to see if the problem was completely gone. Although it has gotten better it's still there. I stopped every 15 minutes to check the idle. The problem still shows up right around 40-45 minutes of riding, I notice a few small backfires while slowing down, then the idle sounds normal when I stop, but if I don't give it enough gas, it stalls. After playing with the throttle for a few minutes, the problem went away and didn't com back for the rest of the ride. I've had the carb apart twice in the last few months, and myself as well as a mechanic in the family has checked it out. The jets are all clean, the float height correct, everything seems ok...for now, I'm just going to live with it.
